Matthew was a passionate supporter of our community and made a lasting contribution to the development of young players.
His support and guidance were invaluable in the early days of initiatives such as the Luxembourg Junior Open, the Sport Lycée, junior squad training sessions, and participation in the Dunlop Circuit. As Vice-President, he also supported the FSL Board with legal expertise and advice.
His experience, knowledge, and practical insights helped shape many of these programs and provided encouragement to those involved.
Beyond his expertise, Matthew was always approachable and generous with his time. He listened carefully, offered thoughtful advice, and provided constructive feedback that was both meaningful and appreciated.
He will be remembered not only for his commitment to our sport but also for his kindness, wisdom, and willingness to help.
He leaves behind a lasting legacy within the squash community and will be greatly missed.
